Yamaha Tech 3 – Bradley Smith will race for another season with the Yamaha Tech 3 Team. The British rider has in fact renewed his contract and will always be alongside the Spaniard Pol Espargarò. The 24 year old from Oxford is 5th in the general classification and is the best satellite rider. For him it will be the sixth year with Hervé Poncharal's Team, also considering his past in Moto2.

“I'm really happy to be able to continue this journey with the Monster Yamaha Tech 3. This will be our sixth year together and I have to say that it's nice to be able to reciprocate the guys with the results they deserve. So far, in 2015, we have arrived where we wanted to be and that is very positive; I feel indebted to them for the goals achieved in our first two and a half years in the premier class! Everyone in the team has faith in me and we know that 2016 will be difficult due to the changes that will be introduced in the regulations – said Smith as reported by the official MotoGP website – However, I am optimistic and I think that the new rules will give the riders greater satellites opportunity to be more competitive. I believe we can improve next year and aim for the podium. 2016 will be an exciting season and I am more than satisfied to be able to ride the Yamaha YZR-M1 and stay with the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 Team.”
