MotoGP Barcelona Free Practice, Marc Marquez: “I'm quite happy”

After ninth position this morning, which saw him close the first free practice session more than a second behind the leaders, this afternoon Marc Marquez managed to make a clear improvement, halving the gap and improving his feeling with the the Catalan route. The word is up to him.

“I'm pretty happy with how the day went. We followed our normal Friday routine; in the first session we were ninth, more than a second from the leaders, then in the second session we halved the gap and finished sixth in the combined. I am very happy with the work we have done, but we still have things to improve and there are points on the track where they are not right. I need to improve my adaptation to the circuit and some details with the set up, but the most important thing is that we have reduced the gap and that we are working in the right direction."
