GP Austria MotoGP Suzuki Qualifying – Andrea Iannone achieved the tenth time in qualifying at the Red Bull Ring, a track where he triumphed with Ducati last year. The rider from Vasto was also doing well with the Suzuki, but a problem with moto1 in Free Practice 4 forced him to compete in qualifying with the second bike, which didn't have the same potential as the first. Here's what #29 had to say.

“This weekend started quite well, we managed to improve the bike a bit. It's a shame that we weren't able to exploit our potential. In FP4 I had some problems and in qualifying I used the second bike – said Andrea Iannone – This morning with the first bike I was faster than I did in qualifying. We lose a lot in acceleration due to spin. It was a disadvantage for me to use the second bike, because we had a different set-up, and I suffered a bit when braking. I lapped 3 tenths slower than this morning, which is a shame because I could have been much further ahead. We have certainly excluded the soft tire and tomorrow we will try to understand which medium or hard tire will be best for us."
