Gp Spielberg MotoGP Red Bull Ring Day 1 – Maverick Vinales said he was quite satisfied with the first day of testing for the Austrian Grand Prix, the eleventh round of the 2017 MotoGP.

The Yamaha rider, third in Brno, still has to work on the electronics of his M1, but the second time obtained behind Andrea Dovizioso gives him hope. The gap from Ducati is just over two tenths, all lost in the first two sectors, he has the say.

“In my opinion today was a positive day, we lack a lot of electronic work where we can improve, but I'm quite satisfied. I feel good on the bike and we need to improve in sector 2 and 3, in my opinion we lack a bit of acceleration in third and fourth gear and we need to see how to resolve this, the bike rears up a lot. I have a good feeling, in the most rideable part the bike behaves well, acceleration is more of an electronic problem that we can solve."
