GP Austria Red Bull Ring MotoGP Ducati Pramac – Not a brilliant day for Danilo Petrucci, who closed the first two free practice sessions of the Austrian Grand Prix with the 15th fastest time in the combined time classification.

The rider from Terni, after a good first session, in the middle of the second session, with new tyres, was unable to be fast and try to attack the time.

The #8 took to the track both with the bike with the new "winged" fairing used in Brno and with the "clean" bike. As in the Czech Republic, it finds advantages with this new solution, but some things still need to be revised in terms of set up.

These are the words of Danilo Petrucci: “I don't know what happened in FP2. We need to double-check the data. In the central part of the session with used tires the pace was good. Then with the new tires I didn't find any benefits. It's a shame because this morning I was happy with the bike. The hull? I felt benefits when braking even if I still suffer from wheelie when accelerating. We have to work on this also because we have seen that Dovizioso has made notable steps forward."
