Yesterday Sky Sport MotoGP HD recorded its best result ever in the 24 hours with an average of 100 thousand viewers (1.990.687 unique viewers) watching TV over the entire day. Record audiences for the races of all three classes (Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP). In particular, Marquez's return to victory in MotoGP ahead of the Italians Dovizioso and Rossi, from around 21.35pm live exclusively on Sky Sport MotoGP HD and on the interactive mosaic channels in HD, was followed by 1.075.649 average viewers overall (+ 29% compared to the GP of the Americas 2014, seen by 833.370 average spectators) with a 3,87% share and 1.468.349 unique spectators.

Absolute record also for the races of the minor classes, always live on Sky Sport MotoGP HD and on the channels of the interactive mosaic in HD: the Moto3 race, from 18pm, obtained an overall average audience of 195.489 spectators, while that of Moto2, at away from 19.20pm, it was seen on average by 216.313 viewers overall.

Over 1 and a half million average viewers for Marc Marquez's return to victory on the Austin circuit, broadcast on a delayed basis last night on Cielo (DDT channel 26 and TivùSat channel 19): with 12.95% average share, in the 45 minutes of Gara Cielo was the most watched channel overall in Italy.

A breathtaking race that brought victory to Captain America, who has always been unbeatable on the Texan circuit. Also on the podium were Andrea Dovizioso and Valentino Rossi, still firmly at the top of the World Championship, authors of an adrenaline-filled race which recorded a peak in audience ratings at 00.21 with a record share of 16,16%.
The next MotoGP appointment is Sunday 18 April with the Argentine Grand Prix, free-to-air only on Cielo.
