MotoGP Austin Qualifying, Jorge Lorenzo "Our rivals are stronger here, we'll see what we can do tomorrow in the race"
Front row for the reigning world champion of the MotoGP class
Jorge Lorenzo will start from the front row tomorrow in the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas, the second stage of the 2013 world championship. The reigning Yamaha champion achieved the third fastest time behind the Honda Repsols of compatriots Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa, who at COTA seem have an edge. However, the race is tomorrow and if something "strange" happens the Majorcan will try to take advantage of it. He has the microphone.
“What happened in qualifying is more or less what happened in all the sessions: our rivals are much faster than us both in terms of pace and fastest lap. The best position we could do today is third. But anything can happen in the race tomorrow. If something strange happens we can fight for the win, but in normal conditions third place is a really good position for the race. Let's hope that the race is better than qualifying and that we can be closer to Marc (Marquez, ed.) and Dani (Pedrosa, ed.).”
