MotoGP Austin, Qualifying: Alvaro Bautista “Still a difficult day”

Alvaro Bautista's US weekend continues in a negative way. In fact, the Spaniard from Team Gresini did not go beyond the twelfth time in qualifying in Austin, the scene of the second race of the year. For him the problems already encountered yesterday continue and he therefore expects an uphill race. The word is up to him.

“Today, like yesterday, we experienced another difficult day: we worked hard to find a set-up that could give me a bike capable of better maintaining the trajectory in corners and greater grip at the rear, but despite the various attempts, it didn't we have achieved nothing positive, and I continue to feel the same sensations as yesterday. Tomorrow morning in the warm up we will test the hard compound tire: strangely, as soon as I tried it for the first time during QP1, I was immediately fast, so we want to understand if it can be a good option for the race. If the feeling improves, we can be more competitive, but we start from the back so it will be important to get a good start. I don't lose faith, the race is always a story in itself and we will obviously give our best to take as many points as possible."
