MotoGP 2015 Austin Ducati – The second day of the American Grand Prix was not easy for Andrea Iannone. In fact, the Ducati rider from Abruzzo had to compete in Q1 to access Q2, given that in the combined ranking of the three free practice sessions he had not returned to the Top Ten. Once he had reached Q2, moving on from Q1, he tried to give his all, but he did not go beyond the third row, having achieved the seventh fastest time. In fact, he wasn't able to take advantage of the soft tyre, but with the hard one he went very fast and therefore remains confident.

“In qualifying I didn't use the soft tire because I didn't have a good feeling and I wouldn't have been able to take advantage of it. If I could have done it I would have at least half a second advantage, but I'm still happy – said Andrea Iannone – With the hard tire we are six tenths from pole and we had a very positive FP4. In fact, we covered the race distance with a used tire. In the last T I am the fastest, while in T2 and T3 I lose something, especially in T3. We need to understand why, if we can improve by changing the guide or the setting.”
