Valentino Rossi achieved the best time in the Warm Up of the MotoGP class in Assen, scene of the Dutch Grand Prix. The Pesaro native achieved it under the checkered flag with a time of 1:35.803, beating Honda rookie Marc Marquez by just one thousandth, who was in turn ahead of poleman Cal Crutchlow by just 32 thousandths.

Warm Up to be framed also for Jorge Lorenzo, declared this morning "fit to race“. The Majorcan who underwent surgery on Friday night on his fractured left collarbone in free practice is in fact eighth at "only" seven tenths. His problem in the race could be the duration; there will be 25 laps to cover for 118.175 km, with the understanding that at 11:00 he will have another decisive visit.

Going back to the times with fourth place we find world championship leader Dani Pedrosa, who is ahead of his teammate Stefan Bradl and the first CRT, the ART Aprilia of Aleix Espargarò. Followed by Hayden, the aforementioned Lorenzo, Bautista and Karel Abraham, who closes the Top Ten.

Twelfth time for Andrea Dovizioso, fourteenth for Michele Pirro and fifteenth for Andrea Iannone, all with Ducatis. Claudio Corti did well, sixteenth with the FTR Kawasaki of Team NGM Mobile, while Danilo Petrucci from Terni with the Ioda Suter BMW was nineteenth.

I can not believe it !!!!!!!!! Lorenzo, 30 hours after the operation, as well as being in the saddle, is also doing very respectable times!!!!!
he's truly great, hats off to him.

I remember a pilot who drove it for 30 months "THE SHOULDER"

Honor to Lorenzo. The pilot has won nine world titles and still wants to race with kids who represent the best of modern motorcycling. Leave MotoGP alone and watch a soap opera. Trust me, motorcycling is not for you.

The two injuries are completely different.
Lorenzo's injury was less serious than Valentino's.
There were also those who ran with 2 gone collarbones.
Or what Capirossi manages to do with a broken hand (it happened to him in the warm up).

This does not take away the courage and attributes of what Lorenzo did..

      Your comments are disarming

today fatman could be right "he wins by detachment" lorenzo broken, marquez broken, pedrosa and cal suffer psychological pressure and if nakamoto didn't keep an eye on them......everyone standing on the sofa, an ancient quote in the sense that it hasn't been heard for a long time.
      we will see.

the things that affect number 46 are always from another world, his overtakings become legend, his damages due to falls are always of an unprecedented severity, his championships won are from another world and all of the wrist, but enough of these things let's leave them to meda&C …….I'm wasting time.

Mugello, come on, they're jumping today, ah ah ah, ridiculous, they have to break their strength to get him on the podium, aaah ah ah and they even talk, ah ah ah!
But yes, let's let them sing for once, hi hi hi!

        marc broken?!?!

cal and pedro suffer psychological pressure…?!?!?!

        Nakamoto keeping watch…?!?!?!

        But you're such a moron...!! ;)

See Mugello, you reply only in these terms...

Valentino's shoulder injury was more serious than Lorenzo's, cartilage and tendons were involved. Of which the tendon was 90% damaged... Recovery times are very different when bones or tendons are involved...

I also remind you that Rossi raced with a fracture of his right wrist (to add a bruised ankle and bruises to his ribcage).

You demonstrate your incompetence once again...

Lorenzo is doing a great thing, hats off and nothing to say except: great!

You are comparing two very different things…

        Poor inept.

        H
For me it's ridiculous when certain characters go out of their way to make comparisons with Rossi...

Ex: saying that Rossi's fans enjoyed hearing about his injury...
Or make comparisons that are neither in heaven nor on earth...

But you know, there are those who experience the world championship in a very different way from these characters, who in my opinion are worthless...

Furthermore, they never miss an opportunity to flaunt their income and ignorance.

But you know, we are in Italy, who screams loudest and who knows the loudest….. I can't finish the sentence which is better….

      5. bcs said:

        Unheard of gravity?

Never written, and never will write... There have been injuries far worse than those of Lorenzo and Rossi and who raced anyway.
If you really want to compare Lorenzo's injury, the one that comes closest is one of Pedrosa's many fractures...

You only know how to write in these terms and that's why you're a little pitiful.

In my opinion we just need to bow down and acknowledge
what these pilots do and have the courage to do... Which I absolutely cannot do (I don't think you either).

        Hello inept

There are no talking points for Jorge, he's truly great!
Yamaha favorites on this track if that other one doesn't win at least today, …….

Ha ha ha, “parloe” = words.

    2. saverio tomaselli said:

“that other one”, as you write, is someone. You, on the other hand, are a number and a few letters.

for Vale....if I find him behind you....give up the space!

    Great Lorenzo!
These are maneuvers from times long gone!

    Hats off to these pilots!

    Lorenzo will run!
    Great!

Ok, it's official, Lorenzo is crazy as hell!!!!!

    1. bcs said:

No, Lorenzo is anything but crazy.
He knows very well what his body allows him to do and what it doesn't.
He has a greater perception and fear of risk than others. If you remember, in his first year he thought about retiring due to numerous disastrous falls.

      He's great!

      1. fatman said:

…imagine if he were to fall and hurt himself further…let's be honest, Jorghe is a cogli@n@!

Memorable businesses present very high risks, we don't learn this today.

  • gigetto said:

This means raising the bar. What a character! Let's not forget that this is the man who made Rossi run away from Yamaha, sorry if that's not enough.

    1. saverio tomaselli said:

Valentino didn't run away, he left because he didn't see recognition.
As for Lorenzo, he is a great champion but he must improve in starts, in the wet and in hand-to-hand combat. When this happens he will be a champion like Valentino. He has to hurry, though, because he is almost twenty-seven. It's difficult?

      1. gigetto said:

The only "recognition" they had in Yamaha was to "recognize" the rider who was both stronger and sportier at the same time and send the other to discover that life can be hard, especially if you are a bit of a braggart. ...which is what Honda also thinks after the history of the motorbike which doesn't count for anything...
Just as, alas, yours is a bit boastful: "Is it difficult?". The braggart answer is: “No, that's wrong.”

  • ChiccoCj_46 said:

    great Lorenzo point!!

  • W_il_Sic said:

Anything, anything, from the most sensational (like this) to the most banal... like, I don't know, "today it's snowing in Lapland",
it would be used by certain total brainless people only to say "Rossi is just s*rda".
    What totally useless existences!

    1. gigetto said:

Everything you don't understand seems useless!

      1. W_il_Sic said:

In fact I wasn't referring to you, I understand you perfectly. Get it!
This is understandable, and well, about you, what you actually are and, above all, everything you are not and will never be!

      2. gigetto said:

If you can't get it with your brain, try swearing :D

  • saverio tomaselli said:

When did Valentino become a braggart (synonym of braggart)? And what have I boasted about (translated synonym of boaster)?

Valentino always had playful gestures and, then, never mocked his opponents. Finally, he actually won nine world titles and in all classes (unique in the history of motorcycling).

In short, Lorenzo is one of the greatest champions in modern motorcycling, but he must improve in starts, in the wet (Lorenzo himself says so) and in hand-to-hand combat (I say so).

Valentino is a champion (I say this and all the motorcycling technicians).

Now I have definitely convinced myself that it was difficult!

    Greetings
