Dutch GP MotoGP Free Practice 4 – Free Practice 4 of the MotoGP class in Assen saw the riders take to the track with rain tyres, but a pale sun, which came out at the end of the Moto3 qualifying sessions (pole for Jorge Martin with Bulega on the front row), meant that everyone immediately returned to the pits to wait for the track lines to dry completely.

Among the most active in the first few minutes were Johann Zarco and Jorge Lorenzo, who covered a few more laps than the others before returning to the pits.

However, the weather was still the protagonist, with a light rain which meant that the riders, with slick tires and bikes with dry setups, were once again "stopped", for a "nightmare" start to the session.

The rain then reigned supreme and the drivers took to the track with rain tyres, in a session which we remind you is not valid for access to qualifying, but which the drivers usually use for the final adjustments.

In the end the fastest was Johann Zarco, who in the first laps had stopped the clock at a time of 1:44.925. Behind him, Jorge Lorenzo is 0.211s behind.

Abysmal gaps for those who hadn't lapped at the start of the session, with Alvaro Bautista third at 2.558. Followed by Jack Miller, Valentino Rossi, Andrea Dovizioso, Marc Marquez, Danilo Petrucci, Scott Redding and Pol Espargarò.

Q1 will be coming soon, which you can follow live clicking here.
