MotoGP Assen, Press Conference: Lorenzo, “I'm enjoying the moment even if the results aren't the best”

Dutch GP MotoGP Press conference – Jorge Lorenzo was present at the usual press conference preceding the Dutch Grand Prix.

The Majorcan, fresh from fourth place in Barcelona, ​​the second best performance of the season, is satisfied with the progress he is making with the Red team and, although the results are still not the best, he is enjoying the moment.

These are the words of Jorge Lorenzo: “It was a good result, in the second half of the race I was worried, I was afraid for the rear, but the predictions we had made the day before came true, and I managed to manage well and get to the second best position of the season. I was fast in the first part of the race, and this means that I am making progress. Assen will be very interesting. The bike should work very well, Iannone was very fast last year and let's see if we can progress.”

After nine years at Yamaha the transition has not been easy, but the Majorcan is positive: “I haven't seen many riders who went fast with the Ducati right from the start, it's a complex and special bike. Very different from the one driven in recent years. There are different techniques for driving it, the rear counts a lot when braking. I try to improve as much as possible, and as I accumulate kilometers I get closer to the limit. I knew it would be hard, but I'm enjoying the moment even if the results aren't the best."
