MotoGP – “MotoGP08”, the official video game, arrives tomorrow
In conjunction with the last seasonal event of the MotoGP in Valencia, “MotoGP08”, the official video game, arrives in stores. In fact, the new Capcom creation distributed in Italy by Halifax (Digital Bros Group) with the official MotoGP license will be available from tomorrow for the PlayStation 3, PS2, X-Box 360, Nintendo Wii and PC consoles.
The novelties of "MotoGP08" are represented by the perfect reproduction of riders, manufacturers, circuits (starting with Indianapolis and Losail at night) and teams not only of the premier class, but also (and this is the first time) of 250cc and 125cc. This will allow you to race in every single category, or even start your adventure in competitions step by step by starting from the 125cc in the "Career Mode": you create a rider, with victories you "unlock" particular contents (helmets, suits, etc. .), it is possible to upgrade the bike based on the results achieved and the teams will compete to hire you!
In addition to the "Career Mode" it is possible, of course, to compete in a championship of the three classes with a driver of your choice in the "Championship" mode, or to compete in a quick race ("Quick Race") and chase the best time ("Time Attack ”). Naturally there are particular challenges, called "Challenges", which will allow you to earn bonuses and unlock content: there will be 50 of them, ranging from maintaining the indicated speed by finishing the race in the pre-established time to beating a single opponent at the photo finish!
Great importance is also dedicated to Online on PS3, Xbox360 and PC, with the possibility of competing together with a maximum number of 12 friends on all the MotoGP circuits.
From tomorrow therefore "MotoGP08" will be available in stores for PC (€44,99), PS2 (€39,99), PS3 (€69,99), Wii (€49,99) and X360 (€69,99) . Below are some screenshots directly from the video game…
