MotoGP | Argentina, QP: Pedrosa, “We managed to get the most out of this day”

Argentina GP, Honda Racing – Fifth final position for Dani Pedrosa in qualifying for the Argentine Grand Prix, second round of the 2017 MotoGP world championship. The Honda Spaniard had to face the Q1 cut, overtaking it by a few thousandths together with Valentino Rossi. Subsequently, taking advantage of the changing track conditions, he managed to grab an important fifth final position which will allow him to fight for the podium in tomorrow's race evening at Termas de Rio Hondo.

Here are the words of Dani Pedrosa: “It was a very challenging day, from many points of view. We had to face an FP3 with truly extreme conditions and then a Q1 full of rivals. The rain that fell in the morning did not allow us to improve our time, forcing us to eleventh place. Furthermore, in FP4 we had some small problems with the electronics, struggling on the damp track. In any case, we managed to get the most out of this day, getting through to Q2 and getting a good second row for tomorrow's Grand Prix. We have to do our best to stay with the best".
