MotoGP Argentina, Free Practice 1: Dovizioso in the lead with the Ducati, Rossi is sixth

GP Argentina MotoGP Free Practice 1 – Andrea Dovizioso achieved the best time in the first free practice session of the MotoGP class Argentine Grand Prix, the second round of the 2016 world championship. A session characterized by a dirty track and with times 3/4 seconds slower than last year's race year.

The Ducati rider took his Desmosedici GP ahead of everyone with a time of 1:43.684, a time that allowed him to precede Marc Marquez's Honda by just 94 thousandths. Third time for the excellent Yonny Hernandez, on the Ducati GP14.2, who preceded the Suzukis of Maverick Vinales and Aleix Espargarò.

Sixth time for Valentino Rossi, who with his Yamaha M1 lapped +0.497 from the top. The rider from Pesaro precedes the Honda of Dani Pedrosa, that of Jack Miller and his brand mate Bradley Smith.

Scott Redding closes the Top Ten, riding the Ducati GP15 of Team Pramac. The winner of Qatar Jorge Lorenzo is twelfth, while Andrea Iannone is even eighteenth. Positions which, however, do not seem "true" given that, as we have said, the film was shot at very high times.
