The Yamaha rider and the Ducati rider made a great start to the season

GP Red Bull de la República Argentina Press Conference – Having archived the trip to Austin, Texas, which saw Marc Marquez return to success, the world championship circus is now in Argentina. The weekend opened with the classic Thursday press conference. For the Italians present the world championship leader Valentino Rossi and the Forlì Andrea Dovizioso, who follows him by just one point. Here's what the two riders and the reigning champion Marc Marquez had to say.

“Being leading the championship after two races doesn't mean much, but it means we started off in the right way. I have a great feeling and having 41 points after Austin and getting back on track straight away helps us to be focused. On paper this circuit is better for Yamaha than Austin and last year I had a good weekend. I wasn't able to get on the podium due to some mistakes on the first lap, but I did a very good part of the race. I like the track, I have two strong opponents in Andrea (Dovizioso, ed.) and Marc (Marquez, ed.) and I hope to be able to have another good race. Let's hope that the weather is good and that the track has good grip"

The seven-time Top Class champion then spoke of the very warm welcome from the Argentine fans. “The passion is incredible, there are a lot of fans around the circuit, sometimes it's difficult, but that's okay.”

A question then about the change in your driving style. “When I started racing everything was still black and white (Rossi jokes, ed.). Speaking seriously, I have to say that MotoGP has changed a lot, especially the electronics and Bridgestone tyres. My style has changed, I was also inspired by Marquez and Lorenzo, who rides the same bike as me. However, as I have always said, every driver modifies and improves his driving style."

Andrea Dovizioso, Ducati rider, then took the floor. “It was a perfect start to the season, two second places and second place in the championship, the best way to start. Last year we didn't achieve a good result, but it was a difficult weekend where there were problems with the gearbox and tires. This year it will be important to get off to a good start straight away. The new bike has a solid base, there is still a need for some improvements, but we are talking about details. We need to improve the traction a little to stay at the top. I hope the weather is kind.”

“Dovi” then spoke about the atmosphere at Ducati. “When I arrived it was a really difficult time. Now we have great harmony, great energy to fight. Even in the team, relationships with people are better. When the base of the bike is good, everything changes and even better results are achieved.”

When asked about the petrol "yellow" in Austin (where he and his team-mate Andrea Iannone were left stranded on the lap of honour) he responded thus. “We didn't run out of petrol, it was another issue but I don't want to talk about it now.”

Reigning champion Marc Marquez then took the floor. “After the Qatar race it was very important to arrive here with only five points behind Valentino. Last year I won here, but the race wasn't easy at the beginning. It will be important to work well to start strong straight away. I know this year won't be easy, the opponents are very strong, it will be a good battle. I immediately understood that this year will be a different championship from last year, but you can't win every race. I like to fight.”

When asked about the petrol "yellow" in Austin (where he and his team-mate Andrea Iannone were left stranded on the lap of honour) he responded thus. “We didn't run out of petrol, it was another issue but I don't want to talk about it now.” Of course not... There is so much harmony in the garage that when the 2 GP15s break down they do it together so as not to disappoint anyone...
I wonder, why lie stupidly like this..??
This attitude also makes you think badly….

It seems they had a different problem. Draft problems are hypothesized due to the excess of vapors caused by the high temperature of the engine and therefore of the petrol.

You yourselves have used the terms "it seems, it is hypothesized" if it were true because don't say it openly, all this mystery isn't good for anyone... However, I have little faith in a problem that happens to 2 motorbikes at the same time immediately after the finish line and in the first race in which they find themselves having to deal with 2 liters of petrol less than before for the first time, as it happens……..

...don't be upset if your "idiot" comes behind you, think about your health hahahahahah...even the site administrators like you!!! Ducati always in front with an empty tank at the end of the race, what beautiful moments….valem@rd@!!!

What is the revenge of the nerds...? Come on, fat guy, stay calm and go back to the den Rossi kicked you into..!! But you are right about one thing, they are good moments, 2 podiums in two races against the predictions of IDI0TIs like you...!! Keep gorging yourself because at least eating is rewarding, there's nothing else left for you....

@fatman..you're right to cheer for Dovi who beat Rossi. I doubt it will happen in many races. I think the difference in level between Rossi and Dovizioso has been clear for at least 10 years. Think what you want... but if you really want to compare the most successful Moto GP rider with a rider who won once... you're in a really bad situation.

Ciaooo, make yourself heard even when Rossi wins, not just when he finishes third ;)

I have to make a serious self-criticism because I thought badly of Ducati. Thinking about it, I realized that the story of draft problems due to vapors is true. When the petrol in a tank runs out, draft problems inevitably arise and when the tank is empty what remains are, in fact, petrol vapours. . Since vapors alone are not useful for combustion in the combustion chamber, it follows that the Ducati version of "draught problems due to petrol vapors" is technically true... Saying, we ran out of fuel, seemed bad, but instead "problems of draft due to petrol fumes" is much more elegant you want to put and then it is also technically flawless ehehehe.... After all, euphemisms are very popular these days, for example the garbage collector becomes "ecological operator" in the same way if I said that SKARTO and the fat man are two idiots, it might sound bad, but if I say that they are "differently intelligent (very differently)" it's a completely different thing, they are still two idiots but you want to put it as it sounds better... …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

but what right do you have to keep bothering me about this issue?!!!!!even if he ran out of petrol after the finish line??????what's your problem????is it outside the rules?????no! ! so now stop breaking the......
There is a regulation approved unanimously, i.e. signed by all manufacturers.
racing has always been an environment of clever people, some go beyond the rules and it's unfair, ducati exploits it to the last...

What the F*** do you want I***A..? I write what I want, if you don't like it, don't read it, I don't force you to..!! Think about the CA0ATEs you write..!! And then I didn't criticize the regulations, I criticized this ambiguous attitude held by Ducati, why don't they tell things as they are? They have a regulation in favor of which is not a crime, why not be clear? But expecting you to understand something is really too much.. Shut up SKARTO go, it's better..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the important thing is to cross the finish line! then they will have to race with 22 liters until the end of the world championship and that will certainly be enough for them

  • Randomly said:

which in my opinion even Ducatis run with 20 liters! it wouldn't make sense to invest money in changes with every regulation change!! and leave with extra weight at the start!! the real and only advantage of the regulation is being able to develop the engine and have 12 available!! on the other hand, however, on some tracks they may suffer from not being able to use the hard tyre!!
