GP Argentina MotoGP Free Practice 4 – The fourth free practice session of the MotoGP class at Termas de Rio Hondo was characterized by a problem with the rear tire of Scott Redding's Ducati.

A real "explosion" of a part of the tire which caused the entire tail of his GP15 to "blow off" and which hit the #45, fortunately without serious consequences. A problem that occurred when cornering at over 200 km/h and which could have had serious consequences.

A similar problem to what happened to Loris Baz in the Sepang tests. On both occasions the pilots had a "luxury" experience.

Michelin has meanwhile made it known that the soft tire will be able to be used for qualifying, while everything is still to be decided for the race.

The session suspended four minutes from the end was then resumed and the best performance was achieved by Marc Marquez, who lapped in 1:39.882. The last four minutes were to be forgotten for Jorge Lorenzo, who crashed without consequences, but with the bike 99% unusable for qualifying. The top five are Marquez, Iannone, Rossi, Lorenzo and Pedrosa.

Q1 and Q2 are slightly postponed, with Q1 starting at 19pm Italian time.
