Suzuki MotoGP GP Argentina Day 1 – Andrea Iannone ended the first day of testing for the Argentine Grand Prix in tenth position, the last useful position to enter directly into Q2 in case it rains tomorrow and the forecast is not the best. The Suzuki rider said he was satisfied with the work done, even if there is still ample room for improvement. The word is up to him.

“I'm very happy, we've been fast since this morning and in FP1 we didn't use the soft tire, but we still managed to improve. This afternoon we weren't able to exploit our full potential and we have some aspects to improve – said Andrea Iannone – However, we understood that the soft tire is not a valid option for us. However, I am calm, we know where we need to work, in acceleration, where we have too much spin and in braking when I enter the changes of direction. As for the new front soft tire with a harder carcass, it is too soft for us, so we couldn't use it.”
