MotoGP Aragon: Maverick Vinales “Today I gave my all but in the race I want to get closer to Marquez”

Maverick Vinales MotoGP 2016 Qualifying Aragon Suzuki Ecstar – Maverick Vinales he closed the Aragon qualifying with an excellent 2nd place, beaten only by a Marquez in monster format. The Suzuki rider, after the splendid success at Silverstone two races ago, continues his excellent form and for tomorrow states that the objective is not only to fight for the podium, but to compete for the race with Marquez. Of course today the Honda rider showed incredible pace, but in the race on Sunday anything can happen and then Vinales already said yesterday afternoon that he felt in great shape on this track so, we'll see.

“I did the best I could with my bike – said Maverick Vinales – the team worked really well but tomorrow we will try to find something more to get closer to Marc. We need to improve the grip, be stronger in the corners, little things that allow you to be stronger in the race. Today I did a nice fast lap, even if I lost a little bit in the first sector. For tomorrow I think it's not possible to ride with the soft tire, because it only lasts 10 laps and then the performance drops a lot. We're there with the tough times, we still need a little bit to fight with Marc but we hope to be able to fight with him"
