MotoGP 2015 GP Aragon Q2 – Marc Marquez took pole position in the Aragon Grand Prix, the fourteenth stage of the 2015 world championship.

The reigning Honda champion achieved it with a time of 1:46.635, a new track record. At the end of the session he also crashed without any physical consequences, while trying to further improve his time. For him it is the seventh pole of the season.

Compatriot Jorge Lorenzo will start with him in the front row, 0.108s behind him, and an immense Andrea Iannone, who despite the problem with his left shoulder, pulled out his "claws" in the flying lap, finishing just over half a second from the top.

Opening the second row will be Pol Espargarò, Yamaha Tech 3 rider, followed by Dani Pedrosa's Honda (fastest in FP4) and Valentino Rossi, who achieved the sixth fastest time. The Pesaro native thus achieves the minimum set to try to stay with the Hondas and his team-mate Jorge Lorenzo in the race tomorrow.

The third row of Danilo Petrucci was excellent, as he finished ninth on the Pramac Racing Ducati, behind Aleix Espargarò's Suzuki and Cal Crutchlow's Honda.

I told you that Giorgino set the record in 46 high, only that Marquez set a record higher than him by lapping a tenth faster. Bad qualifying for Rossi, starting at the back of the second row is certainly not the best thing to do to try not to immediately miss the Marquez/Lorenzo train right at the start.
