Good start for the Honda rookie on the Aragon track
Marc Marquez tested today for the first time in Aragon with the MotoGP. The Honda rookie completed 71 on the 2013 bike, lapping under Casey Stoner's 2011 pole (1'48 .451), with a time of 1'48 .434. Tomorrow he and his team will stop for an additional day of testing to test some additional elements on the current bike and to also test the prototype of the 213 RC2014V. He has the floor.
“I'm happy with today's test. Aragon is one of my favorite circuits and on a MotoGP it's a lot of fun! It was difficult at first, many of the braking points are blind, but in the end I felt comfortable. We did a good test trying to solve a problem we had in the last two races. We made some changes in the geometry and found a good set up base, which I think will also be useful in the next circuits and not just here. Tomorrow I will do further tests on the current bike and then I will try the 2014 prototype. It will be a busy day! “
