Jonathan Rea found another difficult day in his apprenticeship with MotoGP. In fact, the Honda rider needs everything except to ride in critical conditions. Today he tried the Bridgestone rain tires for the first time and he said he was too cautious. The word is up to him.

“It was quite frustrating because we lost another day, it was the same story as Misano! It was the first entirely wet session and for me it was the first time with rain tires and when they lose traction you can "play" slightly with the rear grip. I was a little too cautious today and I feel the need to push more. I'm not happy, in the last laps this afternoon I was setting my personal best sectors and I made some mistakes, I felt the front tire was not very stable on the carcass. It was very important to test here a couple of weeks ago and in the dry we did more than 100 laps, so from that point of view it should be ok, but in the wet I'm not 100% yet. Let's see what the conditions will be tomorrow.”
