Andrea Iannone (pictured together with his new team-mate Yonny Hernandez) arrived at Aragon in better shape than in previous races. The Ducati rider from Abruzzo is in fact improving his form, which is around 80%. He spoke both about the Misano post-GP tests and about the expectations for this race. The word is up to him.

“My physical condition improved this weekend. I think I'm 80% of the way there. I feel stronger, I have more endurance, and I'm happy with that.”

Iannone then spoke about the Misano post-GP tests

“I'm satisfied with how the Misano post-GP tests went; we haven't tried revolutionary things, mostly technical parts on the engine. They were looking forward to 2014 and everything went according to plan. We improved a little, I was faster than in qualifying, faster than the whole weekend. I finished close to the officials and was able to confirm that I could be very fast in the race. From a 2014 perspective, the bike basically rides the same as it does now, and that's positive given that it consumes less and that next year we will have fewer liters of petrol available."

The Ducati rider from Abruzzo then spoke about the Aragon GP

“Aragon is a track that I like, I have achieved podiums and won in recent years. I hope I can have a positive weekend until the end and finish in a good position. However, patience is needed, they are working at home, we have to wait, not give up."

Will you have the new exhausts available to the officials?

“I don't have them and I don't think I can have them before next year.”

Will something arrive before Valencia?

“It's not me who can say it, but I think we won't have a new bike in Valencia. I'm not counting on it right now."
