There is a mistake that many pilots make. They don't understand this principle: in 2017 I finished second in the MotoGP World Championship behind Marquez, but I'm no different from you for this result. I'm not different from you in any way. I achieved this result, I did something special in this sport, but I still remain a normal person like you. Instead, pilots, or other sports figures who become famous, feel more important. But that's not true at all. This is not reality. It makes a big difference whether you think like this or not. If a rider thinks differently then he can stay down to earth, he can be humble. And so, regardless of what happens, he always reacts by working well. My dreams? Becoming a father for the second time and winning the World Cup."

DesmoDovi's immediate future is linked to that of his bulky teammate, Jorge Lorenzo. But before talking about renewal, #04 talks about what a stimulus it was to have a five-time world champion on the other side of the garage. “The start of Lorenzo's adventure in Ducati was positive for me, because I took it as a challenge. It's clear that Ducati was banking on him and didn't believe so much in me. But my strength and that of my group was not to give importance to this thing. I had no doubt that Ducati put me and Lorenzo on the same level on a technical level, this was the only thing that interested me. In such a situation you can behave in two different ways. Get angry and get angry, raise your voice and attack. Or don't give importance to these things, work on yourself and try to give your best.
