MotoGP | Portuguese GP, Quartararo: “We know what to work on”

GP Portugal MotoGP 2024 Yamaha – After the challenging Qatari weekend, Fabio Quartararo's only objective is to make progress in terms of the development of the bike and the setting of his Yamaha.

“El Diablo” has fond memories of Portimao, a circuit where he won in 2021 and 2022. The goal is to move up the rankings, with the awareness that Yamaha, like Honda, is far behind Ducati, KTM and Aprilia.

“The Qatar GP was not an easy start to the season but now we know what to work on. The Portimao track is very different to the Lusail track, so it will be interesting to see how the bike behaves and how the tire wear will be. With no points in the Sprint in Qatar, we are in the middle of the table, so we will do our best to move up the table this weekend. As always, I'm giving 100% and I know the team does too, so we'll see what we can do!”
