MotoGP Ducati Gresini – Marc Marquez ran a great race in Jerez, surrendering only to Pecco Bagnaia, who retaliated the eight-time world champion's attacks blow for blow.

“I had fun, we finished like before, with another rider on the tyre. I always want to look for the top, I told myself to stay calm, then with 15 laps to go I started pushing and feeling better. It was difficult to overtake because the pressure on the front was mounting. I caught Pecco but he defended very well. It's not easy to do a race like this after Austin and yesterday's crash. I imagined Pecco's reaction, he set the fastest lap of the race. His experience on the bike was evident, he is the Champion and is the reference for Ducati. Classification? We have to watch, there will be circuits where we will struggle but I'm happy because little by little we're going from strength to strength. Tomorrow we have an important test, Ducati is helping me to be faster. The start of the World Championship wasn't good because of the crashes but we're not far away.”
