The French rider leaves Ducati Pramac to join Lucio Cecchinello's team
MotoGP 2024 Honda LCR – All that was missing was the official announcement and now that has arrived too. Johann Zarco will race in the next two seasons aboard the Honda of Team LCR.
The French rider will leave Ducati Pramac to join Lucio Cecchinello's team where he had already raced at the end of 2019 after separating from KTM. Below is the Team statement.
“LCR Honda CASTROL is proud to announce the signing of Johann Zarco. The French rider, two-time Moto2 world champion, will join the team in 2024 on a two-year contract. Considering Johann's experience and performances in MotoGP since his entry into the category, LCR and HRC are excited to embark on a new journey together. In 2019, Zarco has already raced the team as a replacement driver, and his commitment and hard work reflects the values of LCR.”
