MotoGP | Pedrosa in Misano as wild card

MotoGP 2023 – Dani Pedrosa will participate in the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix scheduled at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli as a wild card. The Spaniard will be riding the KTM RC16.

For the #26 it will be the third wild card after that of the 2021 Styrian Grand Prix and that of Jerez 2023. The Spaniard won 31 races and achieved 112 podiums in 13 seasons in the Top Class between 2006 and 2018.

KTM confirmed its participation in the race and made the news official through a press release.

The Spaniard will join Brad Binder and Jack Miller at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for the twelfth Grand Prix of the season. In addition to his seventh place in Jerez, Pedrosa also took tenth place at the 2021 Styrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.

Pedrosa's weekend at Misano will be followed by the second and final IRTA mid-season test on the Monday after the race. In the past, he celebrated four podiums and two victories in San Marino.
