MotoGP | Morbidelli accuses Michelin: “Martin? If you have an unusable tire, you're lost."

MotoGP GP Qatar 2023 Monster Energy Yamaha – Franco Morbidelli spoke at the end of the Qatar Grand Prix held at the Lusail International Circuit and did not mince words to accuse Michelin.

Yesterday there was a great controversy from Jorge Martin, who after having dominated the Sprint Race, was never competitive in the race, finishing tenth and very far from the leaders. After the race the Spaniard from Pramac Racing vented by saying that it is a shame that a Championship is decided due to external causes (click here to read Martin's outburst).

Morbidelli is of the same opinion, speaking as reported by Speedweek.com, referring not only to his race, but also to that of the #89 Ducati.

“Everyone saw it clearly in Jorge Martin's race. If you have an unusable tire, you're lost. It was a strange race. I had no chance with this tire. It has been difficult. I was faster in the warm-up with a used tire that I had already used in the midday heat on Friday compared to the fresh tyres. It can not be true. The problem is not the set-up, which was right for us, but the different quality of the tyres. This is difficult to understand. It was already like this in qualifying. On my first flying lap I was in single digits. On the second try, there was no hope.”
