MotoGP Portuguese GP Free Practice 3 – The third free practice session of the MotoGP class in Portimao, theater of the Portuguese Grand Prix, the inaugural race of the 2023 MotoGP world championship, ended with the best overall time of Marco Bezzecchi.

It was an anomalous FP3 compared to previous years, in fact from this year the third free practice session is not part of the sessions that decide the classification for access to Q2.

FP3 was characterized by several crashes, including that of Marini, Bastianini and Bagnaia, closed with the best time of Marco Bezzecchi, 1:38.557, who preceded Fabio Quartararo and Aleix Espargarò.

Fourth time for the reigning World Champion, Francesco Bagnaia, who precedes an excellent Miguel Oliveira and Alex Marquez.

Maverick Vinales recorded the seventh fastest time ahead of Jorge Martin and Joan Mir. Enea Bastianini completes the top ten. After the difficulties of day 1, Franco Morbidelli managed to move up a few positions, finishing in 12th place, while Luca Marini finished 15th ahead of Marc Marquez. Fabio Di Giannantonio recorded the 19th time.
