MotoGP Gp Portimao Mooney VR46 – Marco Bezzecchi, after his crash in the Sprint Race on Saturday, redeemed himself today by reaching the podium in the classic race of the Portuguese Grand Prix, the first stage of the 2023 MotoGP.

The Mooney VR46 Racing Team driver finished third, achieving the second podium of his career after the one obtained last year in Assen (he finished second ed.). Here's what Bez said to Sky Sport's microphones.

“It was a tight race, at the beginning I was struggling behind Miller, then I managed to pass him and tried to let the tire cool down. At a certain point Alex (Marquez) had gotten close to me and then I made the decisive push and left. I pushed for 3/4 of the race and I have to thank the team who did a great job. Compared to yesterday I started better and was better positioned in the first corners and this made the difference."
