MotoGP | Gp Jerez Qualifying: Espargarò takes pole

MotoGP Gp Jerez de La Frontera Qualifying – Aleix Espargarò wins the pole of the Spanish Grand Prix, fourth stage of the 2023 MotoGP.

Constantly changing weather conditions, the rain arrived at the start of Q2, but the heat and wind quickly dried the track, leaving the drivers to finish the session in almost perfect conditions. Brad Binder will start from fourth place ahead of Francesco Bagnaia, who passed through the trap in Q2, and a stratospheric Dani Pedrosa, wild card for KTM.

Miguel Oliveira opens the third row ahead of Johann Zarco and Luca Marini. Maverick Vinales completes the top ten.

He tried in every way to get through, but the world championship leader who finished third in Q1 will therefore start thirteenth.
Crisis at Yamaha, both Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Quartararo did not pass the Q1 trap and will start from 14th and 16th place respectively. Fifteenth time for Fabio Di Giannantonio. The winner of the Texas GP, Alex Rins, will start only 18th.
