Alex Marquez Statement Day 1 GP Argentina MotoGP 2023

“It was a very positive Friday. We worked well with both new and used tyres. It's a shame to have hit traffic on the good lap: today the chances of getting directly into Q2 were really great but we don't like easy things. We have everything to be in Q2 tomorrow and we will be ready for the sprint race. Here the tires and track are very different, but I expect a sprint very similar to that of Portimao.”

Statement by Fabio Di Giannantonio Day 1 GP Argentina MotoGP 2023

“A little better than it seems... We're all really close and the feeling with the bike is back to being like it was in the tests. We made a tire plan that was a little different from everyone else and in the afternoon we didn't have two tires to exploit, but we are just over a tenth away from direct Q2. We are working well trying to improve in all areas, the grip here is really low, but we are getting there."
