MotoGP | GP Valencia FP3: Miller the fastest, Quartararo and Bagnaia in Q2

MotoGP Valencia GP Valencian Community Free Practice 3 – The third free practice session of the Grand Prix of the Valencian Community in the MotoGP class, the 20th and final stage of the 2022 MotoGP championship scheduled for Sunday in Valencia, was characterized by many falls, all fortunately without consequences.

Ready to fall was Marco Bezzecchi, who suffered a disastrous fall, with the Desmosedici GP of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team going up in flames. Subsequently on the ground Raul Fernandez, Enea Bastianini, Brad Binder, Takaaki Nakagami, Maverick Vinales and Marco Bezzecchi again.

The turn, decisive for direct entry into Q2, was the prerogative of Jack Miller, who recorded the best time aboard the Ducati Factory with a time of 1:29.921.

The Australian rider preceded his brand mate Johann Zarco (Pramac Racing) and Brad Binder (KTM), 0.105s and 0.267s behind respectively.

Fourth time for Fabio Quartararo, who on the Yamaha Factory suffers a gap of 0.310s which is ahead of Marc Marquez's Honda Factory and Aleix Espargarò's Aprilia.

Seventh time for Pecco Bagnaia, who in the event of Quartararo's victory, a 14th place will be enough to bring the riders' title back to Ducati.

Joan Mir with Suzuki and Ducati riders Jorge Martin (Pramac Racing) and Luca Marini (Mooney VR2 Racing Team) also directly access Q46, the latter two with the times recorded on Day 1.

A bit of a surprise out is Enea Bastianini (Gresini Racing) who will have to pass through the Q1 trap where we will find, among others, Alex Rins, Franco Morbidelli, Maverick Vinales and Marco Bezzecchi.

Rookie FP3 MotoGP GP Valencia

The best rookie was Remy Gardner (KTM Team Tech 3 and from next year in Yamaha Superbike) 18th, followed by Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati Gresini) 20th, Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati Mooney VR46 Racing Team) 22nd, Darryn Binder (Yamaha WithU RNF ) 23rd and Raul Fernandez (KTM Team Tech 3) 24th.
