MotoGP GP Thailand Race – The Thai Grand Prix can be considered a watershed in the fight for the title which sees Fabio Quartararo and Pecco Bagnaia as protagonists.

The Yamaha rider wrecked on the wet asphalt of the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, finishing outside the points zone, even 17th, over 34 seconds from the top, while Bagnaia crossed the finish line in third place, just two points behind the French rider, recovering 16 points in a single match.

The race was won by a great Miguel Oliveira, who took the KTM to the top step of the podium, taking the second victory of the season after the one obtained at the beginning of the season in Indonesia.

The Portuguese beat a combative Jack Miller, who, fresh from the victory in Motegi, did not give up until the end, taking home 20 points.

Fourth at the finish line was Johann Zarco, who ultimately tried to attack Marquez and Bagnaia, managing to put Team Pramac's Desmosedici GP ahead of the Spaniard's RC213V, who took home a good fifth place after the fourth place in Japan.

Enea Bastianini had a good race, sixth on the Team Gresini Ducati and finishing ahead of Maverick Vinales' Aprilia, Alex Marquez's Honda LCR and Jorge Martin's Ducati Pramac.

Closing out the Top Ten is Brad Binder, who preceded Aleix Espargarò's Aprilia, penalized with a long-lap penalty after a contact in the initial stages with the South African from KTM.

Also scoring points were Alex Rins on Suzuki, Franco Morbidelli (13th and best Yamaha, ed.), Pol Espargarò (Honda) and Raul Fernandez (KTM Tech 3).

Pole man and rookie Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati Mooney VR46 Racing Team) finished 16th, ahead of another rookie, Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati Gresini) and Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha).

Danilo Petrucci, a wet weather specialist who in this race replaced the injured Joan Mir on the Suzuki, crossed the finish line in 20th position. Luca Marini (Ducati Mooney VR46 Racing Team) fell while fighting for the Top Ten and then closed with two laps.

The world championship ranking is completely reopened. As mentioned, Quartararo now has only a two-point advantage over Bagnaia. the Frenchman has 219 points against Pecco's 217. Aleix Espargarò is third, 20 points from the top, while Bastianini and Miller are at -39 and -40 points respectively.
