MotoGP | GP Le Mans Day 1: Bezzecchi, “Special conditions in FP2”

French GP Mooney VR46 Racing Team MotoGP 2022 – Marco Bezzecchi closed the first day of testing for the French Grand Prix in 18th position.

The Mooney VR46 Racing Team driver had set the 15th time in FP1 (1:32.674), while he crashed, fortunately without consequences, in the last afternoon run while he was on track with new tyres. Here's what "Bez" said.

“In FP1 we managed to get off to a fairly good start straight away and, to be honest, I struggled more in FP2 despite the lap time step. The asphalt conditions this afternoon were very particular and I even crashed at the end of the session. It wasn't easy to warm up the front tire well and I found myself on the ground. Overall I am satisfied with what we did during braking and we continue to work towards a step forward for qualifying.”
