MotoGP Rider Market 2021/2022 – The news of the separation with immediate effect between Yamaha and Maverick Vinales has opened up new scenarios, which could already materialize this season.

The Spaniard is in fact free to get on the Aprilia straight away and the very likely test he will do on August 31st and September 1st on the Misano circuit will be fundamental.

The test was already scheduled for Andrea Dovizioso, who at this point could benefit from the "domino effect" by returning to the saddle of a Yamaha, that of Razlan Razali, which having lost its sponsor Petronas, will be sponsored by WithU next season.

Not long ago Razlan Razali had made it known that he "only" liked young riders who needed to grow, but things have radically changed since that statement.

Dovizioso would join Darryn Binder, who will be promoted from the Moto3 Team to the MotoGP Team, while the Yamaha Factory is ready for Franco Morbidelli, where he will find Fabio Quartararo.

In the next MotoGP race, scheduled for Silverstone on August 29th, Yamaha will field tester Cal Crutchlow alongside Quartararo, while Jake Dixon (Moto2 Petronas rider) will have the chance to make his debut in the Top Class.

With Yamaha fighting for the riders' world championship with Fabio Quartararo (current leader with 47 points over Bagnaia and Mir) the performances of the other riders from the Iwata company will be very important and if these do not arrive, Dovizioso could immediately come into play, with Morbidelli immediately alongside Quartararo, as soon as the Italian-Brazilian became available again, most likely from the Misano race.

As for Vinales, let's remember that Aprilia has six wild cards available and these could be used to make the former Yamaha rider debut with the Aprilia RS-GP this season.
