MotoGP | Qatar Test 2 Day 3: Danilo Petrucci, “I can't wait for the first race”

MotoGP 2021 KTM Tech3 Factory Racing – Danilo Petrucci was one of the few riders on track today at the Losail International Circuit, scene of the last day of MotoGP winter testing.

The KTM rider from Terni would have liked to make the most of this final day, but he had to "surrender" to the lot of sand brought onto the track by the strong wind.

The balance after five days on the KTM RC 16 of Team Tech 3 is quite positive, given that "Petrux" is in line with the other riders of the Austrian company. Of course, the first ones are far away, but now we will have to think exclusively about the first of the two races that will be held in Qatar, scheduled for March 28th.

“I am pleased with the progress made during our four days here at the Losail International Circuit. Unfortunately, we couldn't use this last day to improve further. Anyway, we have some clear ideas about what we need. I can't wait for the first race. I am also very happy with the work done with the team and the environment I found. Of course, we still have to improve, because our goal is to fight at the top. For the race weekend, we will be starting from scratch, so I am optimistic about starting this new adventure.”
