MotoGP | GP Portimao 2 Warm Up: Bagnaia precedes Quartararo
Tenth time for Franco Morbidelli
MotoGP Gp Algarve Portimao Warm Up – Francesco Bagnaia, after obtaining pole position in the Algarve Grand Prix in the MotoGP class, the 17th and penultimate event of the 2021 MotoGP, also achieved the best time in the warm up.
The Ducati rider stopped the clock at a time of 1:39.711, preceding the new world champion Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) by 0.111s and Iker Lecuona, KTM Tech 0.257 rider, who will be in Superbike with Honda from next year .
Joan Mir with Suzuki is third, ahead of Takaaki Nakagami's Honda LCR and team-mate Alex Rins. Alex Marquez (Honda LCR) is seventh, ahead of Jack Miller (Ducati) and Pol Espargarò (Repsol Honda). Franco Morbidelli closes the Top Ten with the second Yamaha Factory.
Danilo Petrucci (KTM Tech 3) from Terni set the 12th fastest time, while Ducati rookies Luca Marini (Sky VR46 Avintia) and Enea Bastianini (Avintia) are in 14th and 15th position.
