MotoGP | German GP: Morbidelli “We hope to be fast”

MotoGP GP Germany Sachsenring Yamaha Petronas SRT 2021 – The MotoGP riders will return to the track this week at the Sachsenring, where the German Grand Prix, eighth stage of the 2021 MotoGP, is scheduled for Sunday.

Franco Morbidelli arrives at Sachsenring after ninth place in the Catalunya Grand Prix. On the German track his Yamaha M1 (2019 version) should suffer less given the lack of long straights. The following Sunday he will be back on track immediately in Assen, before the long summer break. Here's what #21 said about the Iwata house.

“From Catalunya we bring with us the performance of trials and tests. We hope we can be strong at Sachsenring, a nice track and very narrow in some places. Can't wait to go back this weekend. In fact, I remember the first time I raced there in Moto2. I didn't know the circuit and in the race I fought for the podium! I will try to tackle the next two races before the summer break in the best possible way.”
