MotoGP Gp Americas Austin Warm Up – Takaaki Nakagami scored the best performance in the warm up of the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas, 15th stage of the 2021 MotoGP, scheduled today at 21:00 pm Italian time on the Austin, Texas circuit.

The Japanese rider from Team LCR lapped in 2:04.074, beating eight-time world champion Marc Marquez (Honda Repsol) by just 48 thousandths, who will start from the front row.

Third time for Alex Rins' Suzuki, which is ahead of world championship leader Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), Jorge Martin's Ducati Pramac and team-mate Joan Mir.

Aleix Espargarò with Aprilia is seventh, followed by Johann Zarco's Ducati Pramac and his brother Pol's Honda Repsol. Closing out the Top Ten is Jack Miller (Ducati), who crashed without consequences.

Ducati rookies Enea Bastianini (Avintia) and Luca Marini (Sky VR46 Avintia) did well, obtaining the eleventh and twelfth time, with Andrea Dovizioso (Yamaha Petronas) fourteenth.

Franco Morbidelli, who returned to Misano after knee surgery and got on the Factory Yamaha for the second race, was sixteenth, while Francesco Bagnaia (pole-man) was only eighteenth and without feeling at the front.

Danilo Petrucci (KTM Tech 3) and Valentino Rossi (Yamaha Petronas) close the timesheets with a gap of almost two seconds from the top.
