MotoGP GP Austin Ducati Lenovo Team – Jack Miller finished the Austin Grand Prix in seventh place. The Ducati Lenovo Team rider seemed to have found a rhythm to be able to fight for the podium but then suffered tire failure. Furthermore, on the last lap he was hit by an aggressive maneuver by Joan Mir and could not do better than seventh place.

Statements Jack Miller, GP Austin Race

“After a good start I managed to get back into the fight for the podium, but unfortunately towards the middle of the race, when I had managed to climb back to fourth place, I started to suffer from a drop in tire performance. I tried to adopt a different style to try not to wear out the front too much, but obviously my pace suffered. I saw that Pecco was behind me and, seeing as I was in difficulty, I let him pass. I finished sixth, but on the last lap Mir hit me, causing me to lose two more positions. In the end I finished seventh. It's a shame, because we could have had a really good race. Congratulations to Pecco for the podium: I'm also happy for Ducati and the team who are now both first in the championship".
