MotoGP | Sepang Test Day 2: Alex Marquez, “I still have to work” [VIDEO]

Sepang Test Day 1 Repsol Honda Team – Alex Marquez closed the second day of testing on the Sepang circuit, theater of the IRTA tests, with the seventeenth time.

The rookie of the Honda Repsol team completed 66 laps, recording his personal best performance on the eleventh lap. The Spaniard stopped the time at 1:59.661, improving by around three tenths compared to yesterday, but suffering a delay from the top of more than a second.

“I'm quite happy today too, especially because we worked quite well with used tyres. Learning to use the tires and adapting to the conditions was my main goal. We did a time attack in the morning, but I wasn't able to ride in the best way, I scored a 59,6 and that's pretty good. The most important thing today was to try the long run, we had a good rhythm and I was also able to see that I still need to work from a physical point of view. Overall I felt good and I'm happy with everything we're doing and how we did it.”
