MotoGP 2020 – Yesterday there was the first day of private testing organized by Ducati in Misano, which was also joined by Aprilia, Suzuki, KTM and KTM Tech3. On the track for Aprilia Aleix Espargaro and Bradley Smith, for KTM Pol Espargaro and Brad Binder, for KTM Tech 3 Miguel Oliveira and Ikea Lecuona, for Ducati the tester Michele Pirro and for Suzuki the tester Sylvain Guintoli

Aprilia has confirmed Bradley Smith in place of Andrea Iannone (who is waiting for the response from the CAS to which he appealed after the doping affair, ed.) also for the first races of the MotoGP which will start on July 19th in Jerez, the circuit where it will also run the following week.

Between masks, distancing and microphones to talk to the mechanics to avoid gatherings in the pits, the fastest on Day 1 was Pol Espargarò, followed by Pirro on Ducati and Oliveira on KTM. The tests will continue today and tomorrow.

The new Misano asphalt was passed with flying colors and the track offers more grip. As mentioned, the fastest was Pol Espargarò (ever closer to the Honda Repsol in 2021, ed.) with a time of 1.30'9. At Aprilia the focus was on the reliability of the new engine and Aleix Espargarò completed 60 laps without problems.
