MotoGP | Johann Zarco: “Having two races on the same track will be an advantage”

MotoGP Motorcycle World Championship 2020 – Johann Zarco spoke about the post Covid-19 MotoGP which will start on July 19th in Jerez, on the circuit named after the late Angel Nieto.

The French rider, two-time Moto2 world champion and from this year riding the Ducati of Team Avintia, said that doing two races on the same circuit will be an advantage for him, given that he has ridden very little on the Desmosedici.

“I'm quite happy with the new calendar – Zarco told the official MotoGP website – It's good news and I think it will be interesting for me to have two races on the same circuit, because I need to learn to ride the Ducati MotoGP. At the moment I've only done six days on the bike, so doing one race and then repeating it will be an advantage. We will also have a weekend with three consecutive races and I like it after the long break, so it will be nice to be with the team and repeat the weekends.”
