MotoGP Gp Misano Yamaha MotoGP Qualifying – Maverick Vinales won the pole of the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix, sixth stage of the 2020 MotoGP.

Then in qualifying, thanks to a time of 1'31.411, he won pole, edging out more than 3 tenths of a second from the first of his pursuers, Franco Morbidelli.

“After three disappointing results he wanted to give it his all and push to the maximum. For tomorrow any result is fine, I will push as hard as I can. Last year I took pole and also the year before, always making three attempts. I'm really happy. The team did an incredible job, they made an incredible effort. The track seems to suit the Yamaha well. All the Yamaha riders are very similar in terms of pace, I have to push and do my best. In FP3 I set a good time, but I wasn't in a good place. I have to thank the team that allowed me to make this improvement.”
