"I'm really happy. I knew I had something more and I played my cards. I immediately tried to overtake some riders, then I tried to keep my pace. At the end of the race I managed to get close to Quartararo and Pol Espargarò; I stayed one lap behind Fabio, I studied him and as soon as the gap opened I slipped in. I then saw that Pol was struggling, his tire was degraded and I took advantage of it. We're still missing something, we need to improve in free practice and qualifying, fighting with the best straight away."
