Monster Yamaha MotoGP GP Czech Republic Brno 2020 – Maverick Vinales will start from the second row in the Czech Republic Grand Prix, the third round of the 2020 post-Covid-19 MotoGP which will take place tomorrow on the Brno circuit.

Yamaha's #12 in fact achieved the fifth fastest time in a qualifying session that went better than expected. Vinales had in fact struggled especially in FP4 with the hottest temperatures. The word is up to him.

“I think we put a dent in the day in qualifying, because we weren't very fast, especially in FP4 with the hottest temperatures. In qualifying, however, I immediately felt very good and with a good pace. The strategy was to do two outings, but I made a mistake trying to keep the same bike. The team did a good job and I think we will have a good opportunity to improve tomorrow, so I'm quite curious to see what we can do and I have a positive mentality. The race will be very long and demanding on the tyres. We will try to stay at the front and a positive point is that the first corner is quite far away, so I think we can recover some positions at the start.”
