Statements Francesco Bagnaia fractured right tibia GP Czech Republic Brno MotoGP 2020

“Unfortunately the crash in FP1 caused me to fracture my tibia. Tomorrow morning I will return to Italy to be operated on as soon as possible. Luckily the fracture did not involve the knee ligaments so recovery times will be quicker. I'm very sorry because this morning the feeling on the bike was really excellent. The goal is to be on track for Austria's second race. I thank all the medical staff, the mobile clinic, the Pramac team, Ducati and the VR46 Riders Academy for the great support. Tomorrow I will return to Italy to be operated on by Dr. Pascarella in Ancona. See you soon on the track.”
