MotoGP GP Austria Red Bull Ring Yamaha MotoGP – Surprise pole position for Maverick Vinales, who after the setting problems encountered in free practice at the Austrian Grand Prix, drove his Yamaha M1 in an exemplary manner in qualifying at the Red Bull Ring.

“I'm really happy because my goal today was to be on the front row, but suddenly I felt an incredible feeling with the bike, even in FP4. Since this morning we have really made a big improvement. The team did a really good job last night, so we need to try to understand which tire will be the best option for tomorrow's race. However, the bike works fantastic, very different from Brno. I am very happy and enthusiastic. We know that in one lap we can be very fast.”
